1. For one of our standard tours please fill in the form found under the Enquire tab on each individual tour page. For a customized tour, please fill in our Contact Us form.
2. After receiving your tour enquiry, we will be in touch with you within 48 hours to ask for any further information that is needed. We will then send you a detailed itinerary and quote, customised to your preferences.
3. After receiving your feedback, we will modify the itinerary according to your wishes.
4. Once the final itinerary and price are decided, Backroads of China will ask you to pay a deposit of 800 CNY/person (for trips costing less than 3000 CNY/person) or 25% of the total tour cost (for trips costing more than 3000 CNY/person). For methods of payment please see payment information. At this time, you will also be asked to fill in a tour registration form for each traveller, providing details such as name, age, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, travel insurance details and incoming flight information. After we receive your deposit and registration forms, we will make the reservations for your travel in China. When we have completed the arrangements, we will send you a document with pre-tour information, giving you more information on what to pack, likely weather conditions, your guides etc.
5. If you require further assistance booking domestic flights, train travel or hotels for before or after your tour, don’t hesitate to contact us at any time.
6. Once you return from your trip, we will be in touch to ask for your feedback, collected via our Tour Evaluation Form.
