The Backroads of China Tour Company offers you the chance to see parts of China that the majority of tourists never get to see. We realise that China is not an easy country to travel on your own, and the south-west of China, an area that is rich in scenic beauty and minority cultures, is one of the least tourist-friendly of them all. We aim to open this area up to travellers who want to see places off the beaten track, without spoiling their trip by having to worry about the logistics of it all.
The majority of our tours are private tours, catering for families or groups of friends, with the itinerary and style of travel customized to the group's requirements. However, we also offer join-in tours from time to time for individual travellers who value the fun and diversity of group travel. The maximum number of travellers for join-in tours is 10. The tour itinerary is specially designed to give the group a balance between group sightseeing and indivdual exploration. In all tours, the guides take care of the accommodation, transportation and touring arrangements, so all you just need to sit back and enjoy the ride.
