Join-in tours

Join-in tours allow you to share the travel experience with other like-minded adventurers. It’s a great way to meet a people and enjoy good company, as well as significantly reducing your travel costs.

Our join-in tours have a maximum number of 10 travellers, and many hiking trips are limited to 6-8 travellers. This allows the group to bond well and for the guide to attend to the needs of all travellers.

Landscapes and Villages of Guangxi Tour: May 17th-23rd, 2013

This trip takes you deep into the heart of Guangxi province. It visits all of the major destinations: Chengyang Dong Village, Dragon Backbone Rice Terraces, Li River but goes beyond pure sightseeing with lots of village trekking, meals with local families and 2 nights in village homestay. It is perfect for those wanting to understand more about rural China and its minority peoples. There is currently one person signed up for this trip. Landscapes and Villages of Guangxi Tour: June 19th-23rd, 2013

This trip takes you deep into the Dong minority region of north-western Guangxi province. It includes lots of village trekking (around 5 hours each day), meals with local families and 3 nights in village homestay. You need to be prepared for hard beds, less than hygienic toilets and simple food. But the views along the way, the hospitality of the village people and the firsthand look at life in remote China will give you an unforgettable experience. 9-Day Scenic Wonders of Hunan and Guangxi Tour: September 19th-27th, 2013

This trip follows our standard 9-Day Scenic Wonders Tour starting in Zhangjiajie (Hunan Province) and finishing in Guilin (Guangxi Province). The scenery on this trip is varied and impressive: limestone crags, primeval forests, rice-terraced mountains, meandering rivers, and the world-famous karst peak landscapes of Yangshuo. 7-Day Yunnan Trekking Tour: September 28th-October 4th, 2013

This tour is designed for those who want to get away from the crowds during the National Day vacation, enjoying fresh air, lots of exercise and gorgeous mountain scenery. The first three days are a trek from Qiaotou across to Haba, camping for two nights at an elevation of 4000 metres, once on the Jizhe grasslands and once beside Heihai Lake. From there, you hike up to Baishuitai, an extraodinary set of terraced pools formed by mountain water trickling down from Haba Mountain over millions of years. A van takes you onto Luoji, from where you set out on your second three day trek through Tibetan villages, the Seven Coloured Waterfall, Dijie Yak Meadows and finally down to Shudu Lake (Pudecuo National Park).  For itinerary and pricing details please Contact us.

12-Day Overland Adventure Tour from Yunnan to Sichuan: October 13th-24th, 2013

This trip follows our standard Overland Adventure Tour itinerary, beginning in Shangrila (Yunnan Province) and finishing in Chengdu (Sichuan Province). Each day is a new adventure as you journey along bumpy, mountainous roads to visit spectacular alpine reserves, small Tibetan villages and the local Khampa’s sacred monastries.
