Join-in tours allow you to share the travel experience with other like-minded adventurers. It’s a great way to meet a people and enjoy good company, as well as significantly reducing your travel costs.
Our join-in tours have a maximum number of 10 travellers, and many hiking trips are limited to 6-8 travellers. This allows the group to bond well and for the guide to attend to the needs of all travellers.

10-Day Landscapes and Villages of Western Sichuan Tour: September 27th-October 6th, 2017
This trip explores the Kham area of Western Sichuan, the homeland of Sichuan’s 800,00 Tibetan residents. Each day is a new adventures as you journey along bumpy, mountainous roads to visit spectacular alpine reserves, small Tibetan villages and the local Khampa’s sacred monastries. Along the way you will be rewarded with everchanging views- lush valleys, old growth forests, soaring snow mountains and alpine pastures dotted with grazing antelopes and yaks. The tour begins in Shangrila on September 27th and finishes up in Chengdu on October 6th. Accommodation is mostly in hotels with a couple of nights in simpler guesthouses. There are currently three travellers from Australia signed up for this tour. They are looking for one more traveller to join them to fill the vehicle.
7-Day Dong and Miao minority villages hiking tour: September 30th-October 6th, 2017
This tour is for people who want to immerse themselves in living minority cultures and soak up some gorgeous scenery while getting plenty of fresh air and exercise. The route traverses some spectacular mountainous regions of Guangxi and Guizhou Provinces, which are home to the Dong and Miao ethnic peoples. You will hike 2-5 hours a day through hilly terrain covered in terraced ricefields, tea plantations and traditional villages. Accommodation is a mixture of quaint, usually family-run guesthouses, hotels and one night in village homestay (with very simple facilities). There are currently two travellers from the Netherlands signed up for this tour.
