Zhangjiajie National Park
Zhangjiajie is the second most popular National Park in China (after Jiuzhaigou). While the cablecar routes and a few of the viewpoints are flooded with domestic and Korean tourists, many of the hiking paths are still quite deserted. Take a backpack, grab a map and head in the opposite direction of the megaphones!
We climbed stairs, stairs and more stairs. 3780 steps to the top of Yellow Stone Village, and 7000 steps to the top of Tianzi Mountain. It was neverending, but the views were magical- making the stair climbing a delight!
